Stopping Loans
If you are a lender, for whatever reason you wish, you can stop loans. Stopping loans will:
- Disable regularly scheduled payments,
- Stop service fees from being generated, and
- Will prevent loan updates from being sent to yourself or the borrower
Note: You cannot undo the stopping of a loan!
If you wish to stop a loan permanently you can visit the loan an in the top right you will see a stop payments button, as pictured here:
You will be prompted to confirm your decision via the following dialog box:
Click "Yes, Stop It!" if you wish to continue and you'll be done. No more payments can made at this point.
